Happy National Week of Deaf People!

Exciting news! The Deaf Community Markets are coming back on Sunday, 1 November 2026. Are you coming?

Stallholder Expressions of Interest are currently open until 1 October 2026, unless all stall spaces are booked before then. We’ve already received lots of EOIs, so don’t miss out!

How do you submit your EOI?
Visit our website for more information, then send your EOI to deafmarkets@waad.org.au.

What will we have on the day?
There’ll be food trucks, coffee, activities for children and adults, and of course, lots of stalls to explore!

Keep an eye on our social media for updates and announcements about the stallholders, food trucks and activities joining us at the Deaf Community Markets this year.

When: Sunday, 1 November 2026
Where: Shenton College, 227 Stubbs Terrace, Shenton Park, WA
It’s within walking distance of Shenton Park Train Station.

Time: 10am–3pm
Cost: Free entry! Come along, socialise and enjoy the day.
Bring: Cash and your card or phone to purchase items from stallholders and food and drinks throughout the day.

Who can come?
Everyone is welcome — Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing people!

This is a day for everyone to come together, connect with the Deaf community, celebrate Auslan and Deaf culture, and support our stallholders and the wider Deaf Ecosystem.

Great News! The Deaf Community Markets Committee has secured our location for 2026!

We want to create a space for the Deaf community to come together, connect, catch up and support the Deaf Ecosystem.

• We are now open for Expression of Interest from past and new stallholders.

• Deaf-led business and stallholders will be given priority.
