Western Australian Association of the Deaf Inc. is excited that the Deaf Community Markets will be happening once again this year on Sunday October 27th 2019. See below page for latest information about this year's markets or visit the Stallholders page.

Hello – it’s just two more days to go to the Deaf Community Markets which is next this Sunday. I want to remind everyone to please bring bags for your purchases at the markets. Also please bring lots of cash money or credit cards as some stall may have pay wave or eftpos facilities. Have a great day, bye

Hello – only 3 more days to go till the Deaf Community Markets. We have lots of children’s activities planned including face painting, Auslan stories and much more – so come along and see what fun things we have planned. I will see you there!!

Only 4 more days until the Deaf Community Markets which are being held at Shenton College. Parking is available and we will have volunteers directing parking. If you don’t want to drive or ride your bike you can take the train to Shenton Park train station which is just a short walk across the road to Shenton College. See you there!!

Video Transcript: Hi everyone – I’m sending greeting from London England. The weather here this morning has been rather strange – it has been rainy, windy, sunny and windy again! That aside, I’m here to remind you that the Deaf Community Markets are in one month’s time on the 27th October. There is still time to make application to have a stall or if you have your paperwork to request a stall please email it to us before the 30th September. Also a reminder about the logo competition, entries must be submitted by the 10th October so please encourage family, friends to design and submit their artwork for a logo.

2019 Venue Announcement
Video transcript: Hello! My name is Jen Moloney-Hyde and I am a member of WAAD Deaf Community Markets sub committee. I am here at Shenton College to announce that this year's Deaf Community Markets (DCM) will be held here - how exciting!
DCM will be held on Sunday 27th October 2019.
Shenton College is the perfect venue for this year's DCM. It is close to public transport and there is plenty of parking here on campus. If you would like further information e.g. how to book a stall, please email us at: deafmarkets@waad.org.au and I have attached a photo to show you where the Deaf Community Markets will be held.
Please let your family and friends know about DCM and ask them to come along and join in the fun, it will be fabulous. I look forward to seeing you at DCM!
